Shree Ganesh Engineering Works is a reputed manual butterfly valve manufacturer that provides trusted flow control solutions for diverse industrial applications. The butterfly valve is built by a practical design, compact structure, allowing for smooth operation, reliable closure and flow control. Focused on quality materials, precision manufacturing, and reliable operation, we offer valves for critical applications in industrial settings.
This page provides details on our products and how to select a butterfly valve for water, air, oil, chemicals or process lines that are operated by a lever or gear.
A standard butterfly valve is fine for water and low pressure lines. It starts to struggle with higher pressure, higher temperature, abrasive media or lines that need a tight shut off.
Our high performance butterfly valves are built for those conditions. They employ an offset disc and shaft mechanism which causes the disc to rise off the seat as the seat is opened. This translates to reduced seat wear, reduced operating torque and a longer "seal life. Seat and body materials are matched to your medium and temperature and include PTFE, reinforced PTFE and metal seats, cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel and other grades.

Shree Ganesh Engineering Works, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We have manufactured industrial valves for more than 30 years and are ISO 9001 certified.
A wafer valve sits between two pipe flanges and is held by the long bolts that run through both. A lug valve has threaded holes in its body, so each side can be bolted separately, which allows one side of the line to be taken apart while the other stays in service.
When the line runs at higher pressure or temperature, handles aggressive or abrasive media, or needs a tighter shut off than a standard valve gives.
Yes, in most cases. Tell us up front and we will specify the right top flange.
